These programmable time switches, with a digital display, switch an electric circuit – for lighting or heating – on or off at selected times during a pre-programmed time period.
Important features of these new environmentally-friendly time switches are changeable battery and special adaptation for energy-saving lamps. Once the date and time have been sent, no adjustments are necessary. The new design and graphics on the display of these units offer improved visibility. A terminal block with high torque enhances the safety of the system.
Legrand’s digital DIN rail mounting time switches with multiple functions and programmes for precise control and optimum flexibility have a unique double display, showing at glance, the in and off actions, as well as the corresponding days. Additional features include a manual or automatic override ON/OFF facility, as well as a running reserve of six years.
This flexible range encompasses time switches, with a daily or weekly programme for standard or multiple functions, as well as special function time switches with expanded offset programming for astronomical functions. There are also time switches with an annual programme for multiple functions.
These time switches for distribution board mounting, are ideally suited for OEM’s, as well as panel builders who can pre-programme the time switch when they install it. At a later stage when the panel or product is connected to power, all the end-user has to do is set the real-time, which is done simply, like adjusting a digital clock.
